But here's another fact: Woody had never known Soon Yi before she was 18 or 19. She had never been to his place, never been introduced, he certainly never "groomed her" when she was a child, as has been suggested int eh media.

Mia introduced the two sometime later in life, well after Soon Yi had grown up in the same household as Mia and Previn.

That is, simply, fact. Despite your false assumptions about what life was like with them, that is what it is. Strange, sure, to many people I guess. But not the strangest relationship, or situation that humanity has offered us.

It's certainly not sick, however.

You either have your facts screwed up or are outright lying. Allen was with Farrow from 1979-1992. She divorced Previn in 79. That made Soon-yi 8-10 at their beginning. The grooming process was perfect for this sick predator that you cannot honestly defend without spewing fiction. Bald faced lies are always required in cases like this. Thing is, there was significant lack of evidence, much less a plausible situaiton in which that ever would have happened, that a grand jury dropped it.

The only court that has tried Allen and "convicted" him, is the court of public opinion, which was directed by Mia. The reality is that she doesn't have many allies amongst their long personal friends. Also, when you take into the account that the public knowledge regarding his relations with his adopted children is a based on a giant fabrication, these cases crumble.

I used to believe the hype. It was actually this thread and the Salon article that brought up the actual facts about the case, and reversed my stance a full 180 re: Allen.

What you want in terms of actual facts are already there.

I believe Dylan Farrow 100 percent and no evidence can you or anyone present that refutes her claim of molestation which ended in a horrific rape in the early 90's. You can't provide anything that can't be answered with simply attacking the accuser, which happened to be a young child. It happens all the time and few people would have a better chance of getting away with it than an actor with tons of money. He raped her and that's a fact.

Regardless of your perceived validity of the claims, he has been given a pass.

Now, do I think he groomed Soon Yi from 10+ to be his bride? Hardly. That seems pretty far fetched. Do I think they could have started their relationship when she was 17? Certainly. But, I don't think that is a giant problem (even if it is creepy), because her age is pretty unverifiable.

Do I think Dylan has anything to gain from continuing her crusade against Woody for sexually abusing her? No, so I am more inclined to believe her.

Where did you check? Last I checked registration is a consequence of a conviction, not an accusation.

This debunks your false claim of Woody not meeting a daughter of Mia's whom he would have met 8 years prior to his photo. State's Attorney Frank S. Maco has opened up about why he decided not to prosecute Woody Allen after his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow 's sexual abuse allegations were filed against him in 1992.

Maco had announced in 1993 that while he found a probable cause to prosecute the Hollywood director, he was dropping the case because Farrow was too fragile to deal with the trial.

Maco told People magazine last fall that Farrow was traumatized to the extent that he did not have a confident witness to testify in any court setting, be it a closed or open courtroom.

Maco added that Dylan's recent openness does not change anything about his feelings as to the correctness of his words and actions back in 1992 and 1993 as he had to first and foremost consider the child. (ANI)

That's my primary problem with this. One needs to go down the path of assumption and coincidence, with no real facts to start making such conclusions. One can't really infer much from a single photo other than: This photo was taken on this day. Yes, the nature of the photo means something (e.g: are two people fucking in the photo? Most people would reasonably conclude that those people were fucking when that photo was taken.), but inferring meaning into things that are not explicitly shown is the path of fools and crackpots. e.g: our newest crackpot member...who has most likely been spamming his photos over the internet the last week...and who knows why. who cares?

Did I get the timing wrong in the details of their lives, from my memory of reading this article 5 months ago? Yeah, I did, and I corrected that. I don't follow this story daily, like nutjob does, apparently.

Yes, extreme examples, but we know that autobiography is seldom the most reliable source for dispensing truth.

Again, is there reason to suspect Woody? Sure, absolutely. He strikes most of us as a creepy dude and he's admitted his own fetishes and habits that would likely be icky to us. It is all plausible, naturally; and rape is a very very bad thing. That is why this case hits the public so passionately.

Still, there is no solid evidence of pedophilia re: Soon Yi (a term that our newest wackadoo clearly doesn't understand). There is plenty of assumptive reasoning that leads one to accept that he raped Dylan which would, indeed, be horrible. The facts don't seem to be known in that case, however...another term that our SilverPrime-wannabee seems to play fast and loose with.

The main problem is that people want to equate his incorrectly labeled 'wrongdoings' with Soon Yi as evidence he didn't commit any kind of sexual abuse against Dylan. The two are mutually exclusive relationships. And while I admit, I don't think did anything wrong with Soon Yi (at least, that I can see any evidence of), I still don't believe his relationship with her was, at most, casual. He had been in her life 8 or so years before they started dating. The real nature of that relationship, and what, if any inappropriate actions might have occurred seem to be lacking of evidence. Now, that doesn't stop people (like the current thread wackadoo) from assuming it.

That still doesn't eliminate the issue of Dylan repeatedly sticking by her story that she was sexual abused. Now, could those be false memories possibly planted by her mother? Sure. But could they also be truthful allegations? The problem is, we get shit from both sides. If you think it wasn't Woody's team that haven't discredited Mia to the point everyone thinks she coached Dylan or planted a memory, I don't know what to tell you.

Dylan really gains nothing from continuing this accusation. Did it really happen? I doubt we will ever know the truth. Is it something that should be brought up as a discussion on why powerful people get to have their past transgressions (and accusations that can't be proven) forgiven or ignored? I think so.

I just copied the entire text of his post and googled that. All of these yahoos create their text in a text file or something, then start creating random accounts everywhere and posting the same thing.

That's how whomever it was that did the same for Silver Prime, found all of his forum accounts, I imagine. Though, I bet SP has an entire storage array just dedicated to those spammy posts that he makes.

I'm not sure why they bother--It's very low tech and just too easy to find.
