Dying Sony DSC-V1 CCD?

Every pic I take is well, random garbage. Lines running through the screen, super exposed, etc. Things look fine on the screen, then you take the picture, bam, nastay. Video works fine, although once the whole picture did "warp" for about half a second.
Photobucket album documents the stages of my cameras demise, is this a broken CCD or not? I filled the Sony form out already for the shipping label (which I have not recieved via email or snailmail yet, curse you Sony), because I really need the camera before I leave on vacation in June.

It doesn't look like the classic, "blackout" CCD death; but it could well be a CCD issue of some sort. Let Sony deal with it.

Yeah, that's what I think it is; its just I've never seen what a borked CCD's pictures look like and wanted to know if anyone could help me make sure.
And Sony is taking their sweet time with e-mailing me a PREPAID SHIPPING LABEL. Gah.
