I have my trusty 6 year old 17" Sony Trinitron that came with my Dell computer and it is showing sings of fading.
It's fairly obvious when there are dark bands that travel horizontally across the screen and that screen brightness just isnt as sharp as it used to be...
Anyways, I dont want to leave this thing to the tender loving care of the garbage dump and was wondering if there was some place that I could send it where it might be recycled or maybe stripped for parts?
Hell, maybe someone could even repair it and use it if they had the know-how. It's beyond me and I think it would be a waste to let it rot in a land fill for the next few millenia.
