Can a keyboard go through a dying stage before it's dead? My keyboard doesn't "type" to the point of once a day now. It will stop working for a few minutes then start working again. I've completely uninstalled it through device manager and I still get the same thing.
 
Keyboards can and do wear out. It's good to have a spare, so get your replacement and see if the problem goes away.
