so this random cat shows up laying behind our house and is basically unresponsive and panting heavily. it can move its tail and kind of stretch its legs but then just goes back to laying there panting. there is no identification on it but i've seen it around the neighborhood.

i talked to animal services and they said they have only one officer out for the whole county so he'll show up "sometime today." the only emergency animal clinic is like 25minute drive. should i wait for the animal services guy? or if i take it myself, will they just kill it because it's a stray?

Cuts or scrapes on it? Might have been hit with a car.

If you pick it up be sure to wear gloves. Animal services probably will end its suffering.

Be careful not to masturbate at all within a 200m radius while it's in this condition, you might kill it!

update? did it die? Did animal control come get it? Do you have 8 kittens under your porch now?
