DYI Project. I need help.

Hi - I have a mini PCI card and antenna wire leads with mounting brackets on the end. My question is where EXASCTLY do the ends of the antenna brackets go? Someone said ?behind the LCD.? But where? Do I open up the LCD? Does it screw onto the hinges? Does it just sorta flop around in there? It seems like it has two screw holes to mount to something.

I have a HP Pavilion ZE 4600. Any help would be great!

I can't say for the HP, but the Dell's usually already have the antenna leads in the LCD lid. All I had to do to mine was install the mini pci card and plug the antenna lead ends onto the card.

Did you look at the mini PCI area to see if the antenna is there or not? Should see one black and one white if it supports two antenna.

I went to the HP web site and looked at the manual for this laptop, The antenna wires doesn't go around the LCD but are in the main body which has to be disassembled in order to replace then or install them if they are not there already.
