Dyeing hair white

I don't know about white, but a guy I know ended up with very very light gray hair after swimming in a pool repeatedly with too much chlorine.
 
wasn't rutger hauer's hair white in bladerunner?

that might have just been that hairspray paint stuff, you might be looking for something more permanent?

It is a lot of work, you may have to dye it SEVERAL times to get the desired color. However, you'll have to repeat when the roots come out.
