Bought a strix 980 ti, to replace my 770. Now when I launch bf4 it crashes with the error dxgi_error_device_hung. I had the same on path of the exile but there it was that I had enabled mfaa to try it.

Any ideas? Soft or hardware issue, since I can send it back.
 
sounds like software. Make sure latest drivers is installed and briefly use Geforce Experience to optimize it to reset it. I dont use GE except when a game needs reset, I keep it uninstalled but once a year when i use it
 
I fixed bf4 issue with removing dx folder from it and at origin used repair command, oh and reinstalled tweak utility.
