I recently bought Tribes 2. I installed it along with Direct X 8.0a. When I run it, my computer just freezes with a long beep sound coming from the speakers. So I decided to find out the problem. In DXDIAG, under the Display tab, I disabled AGP Texturing. The game works now, but I have a question. When I disable this, does it affect the gameplay or anything? I have a Leadtek Winfast Geforce2 Pro running 6.50 drivers. My motherboard is an ASUS P3B-F. Do I have to download anything? Thanks for your help.
