DX9 With Water

Well we all know the FX cards SUCK at DX9. However im going to install new drivers and maybe decreasethe resolution a bit i just want to see it. When i added the extension to the shortcut target i ran but all the water vanished. How do i force DX9 and keep the water.

see anand's latest HL2 Article (Part 2). you have to use a console command to do it. -dxlevel xx (90 for 9.0, 81 for 8.1, etc.)
