DX10 Cards - Any simple way to figure out which ones are DX10 cards?

Need to upgrade a video card in a Vista Dell machine - is there a list somewhere of the cards that are DX10 compatible?

Right now there's only G80-based cards, Nvidia 8800 GTS or GTX. NV is planning to release their full 8-series line-up in the next few months which will all be DX10. ATI/AMD R600-based cards will also be DX10. But in terms of tech specs, I believe you just need to look for SM 3.0 compatible to be DX10 compliant.

Edit: Keep in mind, older cards will still be DX10 compatible, they just won't be able to run the new features introduced with DX10.

Yap sorry, SM 4.0. Always just a bunch of numbers to me until there's a reason to remember (actual games).

That doesn't make any sense... DX9 cards won't be DX10 compatible... that games and applications will have a DX9 fallback mode for DX9 cards is a different thing altogether. If you want DX10 get a 8800 card (nvidia will release 8600 and 8300 parts soon though). You are not getting any kind of "DX10 compatibility" with DX9/SM3.0 cards.
