DX10 8600 AGP

With a 128bit memory, I don't think it will do that much of a service to AGP users. Atleast the 7800GS and X1950pro had enough power to run the games of its day cranked up.

A buddy of mine is still playing on an Athlon XP 2000+ and a 9700Pro, I bet it would be somewhat of an upgrade for him.

The 7600GT is every bit as fast as a 7800GS in virtually all situations?? Go read some benchmarks.

Thats only because due to really low clocks, the 7800GS(375mhz) was limited in its shader performance. A lightly overclocked 7800GS agp running at 450/1400(the clocks almost everyone runs theirs at) would completely blow away any 7600GT.

I don't think a 8600 would be limited in the same way, however like the 7600GT it will be pinned down by its memory bus.
