Doesn't look like anything unique. I get the impression that I've seen it before from watching the trailer.

Exactly. That's pretty much the point of action movies. Nothing new, just mindless fun.

I've thought that The Rock was the heir apparent to Stallone/Schwarzenegger/Willis/etc as America's "action movie superstar" ever since Walking Tall and The Rundown came out. Then he spent the last couple years making kiddie movies. It's good to see him back in an action movie.
 
When will the rock return to WWE? it's not the same without him.....

nothing new or amazing. but it does look like it will be good mindless fun. wich is why i go to action movies anyway.

If you like action-shoot them up movies, this sounds like a film to check out. I am going to wait until it hits HBO.
 
I know QuickTime has trailers so I went there. I saw the trailer on IGN's site.

Should be a fun movie. Like most of his stuff, it probably will have a weak story line, predictable plot, and mediocre acting...but still fun to watch.
