DVR software for Vista

Was thinking about something like this for video capture. Is there any programs out there that would be able to wake the computer from sleep and record the input?

If you're asking if its possible for a sleeping computer to see movement and start recording, the answer is probably no. If you want something that actively monitors for movement (not sleeping) and records any activity, this is very easy and i've seen many programs like this.

I think what you're asking is if you can program it to record at a certain time, like a set-top DVR?
