What is the difference between

DVI-I

DVI-D

What video card supports dvi-d?

DVI-D connection carries digital signal only, DVI-I can carry both digital & analog signals.
this would be useful if you had a video card with dual monitor output 1 being a digital LCD the other a CRT. If you search on anandtech site for DVI you will find an extensive explanation. Many video cards now come with a DVI port.
