DVI vs. Dsub, night and day?

I'm posting on a Dell 17" 1704FPV lcd with a gf3 ti200 that only supports analog out. Would I see a significant difference in movies, games, and in general with dvi?

its always better to bypass ramdac chip on vidcard and go digital to digital
but as you get better vicard and monitor, it will become more apparent

It depends. Do you see crawlies and hashes every now and then?
