I am considering the upgrade from my 19" Trinitron to a 19" LCD. My question is what is the picture quality difference between the DVI and Analog 15-pin? Should this be a consideration? I have a limited budget, and am limited to where I can buy it (since I have a significant amount of $$$ in gift cards at this store), if I should be considering DVI or not. Thanks for any assistance.

I would recommend you buy a LCD that has DVI,especially if your video card has DVI support, the image quality improvement is noticeable over analogue IMHO,you`ll see a sharper/crisper image with DVI .

Well, was able to get a decent deal on the Dell2001FP. Looks like it has everything you need, 1600x1200, 16ms response (60Hz refresh), DVI, Analog VGA, S-video, 176 degree viewing angle, 5 USB ports, 400:1 contrast. My only concern is some people say colors aren't as rich as a Samsung, but it will definitely be as good as my CRT, weigh about 50 lbs. less, and take up much less desk space (biggest reason for upgrade).
