Bought an NEC 90GX2 monitor. I have a geforce 6800 video card. I hooked up the basic mini dsub cable, and the dvi-d cable.

Questions are, what is DVI?
How do I enable it?
 
you should wikipedia it, and you dont need both plugged in, just the DVI cable. DVI is generally a superior connection.
