Hi guys,i have A lenovo Thinkcenter with Linux Mint Mate with Intel Hd2000 Graffic card,
3.o mesa 9.0 drivers, this Pc has DVI video connection, i connected it to my Sony Hd Sony TV with DVI input it recognises the TV hd divi and i can see a perfect clean video pic but it will cut the edges so i can't use the tv monitor to navigate the browser i can raise the resolution up to 1920x1080 30 HZ but it also gets the pic bigger on the screen,
i have connected other monitor to the VGA output so i can control and change things on the screen. but this monitor only goes to 1024x576 resolution.the best i can get is in the mirror this monitor but still can't control the browser on the sony tv,
is there anything that i can do to adjust this monitor to get the best hd resolution and keep the pic centered. so i don't have to have a sec monitor to be able to navigate the web?
thanks in advance

I'll respond to my post since nobody here has an opinion!.
I was able to get the full 1080i 30HZ resolution on the Sony with minimal over scan by swapping the existing VGA monitor that was 1024 resolution for a Led 15'' 1080i HD TV with VGA input that i had hanging around,so now i get same pic on Sony as on the monitor with the exception that i still can't see PC upper and bellow control but i use the VGA connected monitor to control them.
Wish i could get the TV to display the PC controls like shut down,
i have the Sony Service manual maybe I'll try to squeeze 1' each side vertically, i got to study this thoroughly, don't want to mess the TV.
