DVI to VGA adapter?

I've been told these things exist, but I don't know where to get one. Fry's has one that is for a Mac that I was told would work on a PC too, but it was $20. I was under the impression they could be had for much less. Any tips?

Does this look like the right thing to buy? I want to connect a 2nd VGA monitor to my video card which has a DVI port. I'm not sure about the male/female thing.

I use those exact adapters (bought them from NewEgg with a Chaintech Ti4200 card). Work just fine.

I got mine at a computer show for $9 and it runs a 15" flat as a second monitor.
