DVI to MDR20 LCD question

Have an older gateway LCD monitor i wanted to try to use for testing purposes,but was curious if it would work with some sort of adapter.

It's a Gateway FPD1500 that takes a MDR20 connection.
will need it to hook up to DVI or VGA video cards.


If anyone knows if this would work,or a cheap place to grab the adapter/cable let me know.
i'm not familar with this type of connection.

i had one of those. MDR20 is "DFP" which is electrically compatible with DVI. I had an adapter a long time ago when I had one of these (the HP fx50 also had the same sort of weird adapter, brother had one of those).

sometimes you can just buy a DFP to dvi cable.
