My 9600 gt has 2 dvi ports and 1 s video port that comes with the red blue green hdtv out adapter. If using a a lcd tv as a monitor is there any differences quality wise by using one over the other when watching hi def movies? I dont now the pros and cons between the 2. i know in general hdmi carries audio as well but since my card doesnt have an actual hdmi port it wont carry audio

HD movies ( Blu-ray /HD-DVD ) need a HDCP handshake to work, which can only be done via DVI/HDCP or HDMI.

Best would be to use HDMI or DVI/HDCP, before using component. From my experience they offers a slightly sharper image over component.
