DVI to Composite for Nvidia GeForce cards?

After reading the "Catalyst article, I am left wondering when Nvidia will offer similar HD support.

I have tried using the VIVO output from my TI4400 to my Toshiba 43" HDTV (4:3) and predictably, it looks like crap. Granted I'm not using a 16:9 Plasma display, but it should still look much better than it does.

I also discovered that there is no way to display DVD video out the TV ouput to my TV. (apparently due to the Media conspiracy not wanting us to have Digital to Analog capabilities, we might copy our great DVD's onto crappy VHS)
Judging, from the image quality Nview to my TV, I wouldn't be able to watch it anyway.

It sounds like a DVI to composite (YPbPr) would be just the ticket to clean the video up. Nvidia needs to come up with a similar product
The VIVO feature was one that I planned on using, instead I had to go with a separate DVD player. The fact that ATI offers this with thier new cards is enough to turn me to an ATI customer alone.

Why the heck are you using composite on a 43"?? Use s-video.

Also what video out chip does your card have? i hear philips are the best ones?

Actually, S-Vid kind of rots too. Component is the very minimum you want to use for a HDTV. VGA is better, and DVI is even better than that.

I know...But he already has s-video right in front of him and he is talking about composite? Moving to s-video will at least stop flickering of fine lines and it will make everything a little sharper.
