By the looks of it, it looks like my GPU (EVGA GTX 560) Supports every common type of DVI. Thing is, which one to choose? and why? I just read up on it on wikipedia and it says it as if there is huge differences, which there probably is, so im wondering what the BEST one is, best quality. It looks to me as its DVI-I, dual link. The monitor im looking at though only supports up to DVI-D, Dual Link. Cord: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824236059 Monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236059 Which already looks great. My setup is going to be 2 of these monitors, both hooked up to my graphics card. So, does it really matter what type of DVI? (Besides it being able to plug into the monitor) Another thing to add, the monitor comes with 1 DVI-D, SINGLE link cord, so would the cords really be worth spending 10$ each on

I don't believe that monitor will take advantage of DVI-D dual-link. It should be fine with a single-link connection. The advantage of the DVI-I on the card, is that you can also use a DVI-I to VGA adapter on it as well.

DVI dual link is only required for higher resolution, when a single link doesn't have enough bandwidth, but for 1080p 60Hz I fail to see any advantage,

also DVI-I vs D is unimportant, as long as you are not planing on using an old analog connection,
