DVI signal quality of Nvidia cards.. 5700 and 5900

Is there any way to find out how good they are apart from buying and trying? I have a Samsung 240T and I use it with a plain Radeon 9000 pro now and it has great image quality. But now I want a faster card.. I can't find any info on this.. There is something at extremetech but they only prove that image quality differs a lot even in the same class of cards.. 5700's and 5900's.. So there would be no way of telling if a card is good or bad.. Any help?

I know different cards had huge differences in analog quality output at high resolutions since high resolutions really stressed the DAC's and flaws were often seen in blurry text (nVidia particularly).

I'm interested to hear what people have to say about DVI...

perhaps this is why i haven't seen any nice 1920x1200 WUXGA 15" LCD's for the desktop... I wouldn't buy a notebook without one but to get that sort of desktop space on a desktop I would have to purchase 2 larger and more expensive LCD's.
