DVI or HDMI for gaming/DVD movies?

Hi all,

I've read some infos in the webs about this but can't find a clear answer as to which is best for image quality.

My LCD is a LG W2353V-PF, a 23" LCD with a native resolution of 1920*1080 and have a HDMI-in.

My video card is the Sapphire HD 5770 with the native HDMI.

Currently i'm plugged with the DVI cable. Would you get a better image quality with a HDMI cable or it won't do anything perceptible?

Thanks!

No, DVI and HDMI are pin compatible and are both digital, so the image quality is identical.

The only major difference is that HDMI can carry audio, and is not backwards compatible with VGA.
