DVI Monitor cuts on and off

Having a issue with my PC.

I have a i7, 650 Antech power supply, EVGA 670 GTX superclocked card.

I have a dual monitor setup with a 23" via HDMI, 27" Catleap via DVI.

With no changes to anything my 27" cuts in and out now and will not stay on for long then 2 seconds. Second monitor is fine and unaffected. I left my computer off all day, booted it up and within 20 secs it will start doing this. There is a low beeping not sure where its coming from.

I thought it was the video card but i swapped it out to a old one and same issue. Again does not effect the HDMI one at all.

Is this a overheating/fan issue do you think? Came out of no where, and it does it right away so does not seem like it would be a overheating issue.

Sounds like your monitor is dying.

It's a issue coming from the pc i am pretty sure, beeping is coming from it and fans start making noises.

Try a different DVI cable, and then try the other DVI port. If the problem continues, then yeah, sounds like the screen is dying.

Plug it in via HDMI and see what happens, and try the other monitor via DVI.

I have plugged the monitor in both DVI ports and does the same, and it does not have HDMI. I am going to try to plug the monitor into something else first before i go any deeper.

Try just the HDMI monitor with DVI then.

Does the power light on the monitor change colors or blink like it is going to sleep?

Also, when it cuts out try taking a flash light and shining it across the monitor, then place your head next to the monitor. If you can still see the image very faintly then your backlight or the electronics behind your backlight are dying.
