DVI & LCDs

i just got a dell 1905 and i was wondering if i should get a Monster DVI cable. In what aspects will the monster cable help me out? (theoretically, your opinion, etc)

im also going to get a good video card as well, ATI 9700 pro.

please help a brotha out. thanks.

It won't help at all it will be a waste of money. Perhaps if you have a long run it could but Monster really isn't as high of quality as main stream consumers think they are.

Huh? Monster Cable is very high quality it's just overpriced high quality...

Perhaps that is true Tabb but I doubt he will be able to notice a difference and for the money its certainly not worth it, esspecially if you can find comparable quality cable for cheaper.

Just grab one off ebay.. since it's digital, it either works or it doesn't.. I don't think quality matters much here compared to normal analog VGA cables

Didn't the monitor come with a DVI cable anyways? My Dell 2001FP came with one.

the monitor came with a dvi, i was just wondering if a MONSTER DVI cable would help the quality. I am going to get a tv wonder elite soon and want to get as high of quality tv as i possibly can.

i cant go with a hdtv wonder because there is no service of that kind here. thanks for the help so far.

Nah it shouldn't really help unless you are having to go far distance like over 10 ft or so.
