OK - why the heck are these so damn expensive.
They're all like $299 and up!
Any one know of a reliable KVM switch that'll switch DVI for less than 300 bucks??

Maybe they're expensive because there's almost no demand for them. I've only seen two or three of them, none less than $300. Mine cost $450 + the extra cost of two 6" DVI cables.

I hope you meant 6' DVI cables, because otherwise your computers are REALLY close together :)

Everything I saw there were regular KVMs with analog connections. He needs a DVI video port.

Actually, my monitor is a Samsung 191T which cost me $1100 (and that was a deal. I was using a 20% off coupon!) when I bought it in May 2002.

He wants DVI, those are not DVI. They rape you for a DVI KVM.

Cadaver - There potentially one more option and it's "only" $199. There is a DVI switch-only (no keyboard or mouse) from Dr Bott but it supports only 15" LCDs (according to the site). So if you're using 15" LCDs this may work for you.

Ralf- thanks for the link.
I think I'll email DrBott tech support and ask if it truely supports only 15" LCDs (presumably 1024x768) or if it'll work with any DVI display.
