DVI-I to VGA Pin Connections and VSYNC

Hi,

Does anyone know what pins are connected between a DVI-I to VGA adapter? I notice on the pinouts for DVI-I that there is an analog VSYNC signal, is this also transferred? If so, should 3D stereo glasses that use the VSYNC to open and close the shutters on a pass-thru cable work with this adapter?

Thanks for any insight.

Normal VGA CRTs use seperate TTL-level horizontal and vertical sync signals, and those are output by a DVI-I interface and used by those DVI-I to VGA adaptors, so I would say yes, they should work.
