DVI-D to HDMI adapter

I'm planning on getting that one if there's nothing wrong with it.

There doesn't seem to be any difference between expensive VGA-DVI adapters and cheapo ones. I'm thinking it's the same in this case?

You're passing a digital signal from one connector shape to the other. There is neither redundancy nor error correction on this signal, so it either gets there or not. Quality loss is either 0% or 100%.
