DVI-D / DVI-I confusion

I just got my new system from Directron (they built the PC for me) and I realized I could not plug my Dell monitor on the video card !

The video card has 2 DVI outlets, which, I think, are DVI-I as they have 4 small prongs around the large one. On the other hand, my Dell 1704 FPV monitor has 1 VGA (which I currently use) and a DVI port, which, I think, is DVI-D as it cannot accept these 4 prongs.

What are my solutions ? Only a DVI-I to VGA adapter ? Or does it exist a cable DVI-I to DVI-D ?

Thanks !

That's probably my best option indeed. The thing is that, at this point, I only have a DVI-I to DVI-I cable, which isn't of much help... I'll go to Directron tomorrow to buy a DVI-D to DVI-D cable.

It's so frustrating to be forced to wait 24 more hours to install my new "toy" just because of a stupid cable...

The cable that came with the monitor(if it did have one) should be DVI-D to DVI-D which works
