Which DVI card would deliver the overall "best bang for your buck" performance for my free Dell 1702FP LCD display?
I would prefer to spend under $100, but a more realistic figure is $150 but I'm willing to go all the way up to $200.
A few things:
1) I'm NOT a hard core gamer, not even a casual gamer, maybe play 1-2 games a year. So gaming is not a high priority for me.
2) Would like good 2D/3D support.
3) Prefer a card which has up to date XP drivers that work.
4) Would like a good overall card like the ATI All-In-Wonder, something like that.
5) I DO NOT need dual monitor support.
6) If you recommend Matrox please recommend specific model numbers and other brands as well.
I'll probably buy the DVI card from (listed in order of preference):
Dell.com
NECXDirect.com
NewEgg.com
This will probably be used with my P3/866 (512MB SDRAM) or P4/2 (512MB RDRAM).
Thanks in advance for your advice!
