I hear that the all-on-chip DVI on the ATI 8500 is not as good in terms of quality, and beyond that, people have been having problems. Not everyone who has one has run into problems, but there's been quite a few... so it's luck of the draw. >>
so then here is a question could it be the monitior itself that is the problem working with some monitiors? while other monitiors that same video card works well ? i am wanting to buy a LCD Monitior but want to make sure the one i get will work right

The monitor itself is not the problem. Even switched to other DVI LCD's, they exhibited the problem.
