dvi card for flight sim 2000 (and MAYBE converting hi8 to digital)

i've got the planar 17.4 and i MUST have a dvi card soon. but it must be good enough to run fs 2000 flawlessly.

if it isn't too expensive, i'd like to edit my old hi8 movies on the card as well, but that can wait if it bumps up the price too much.

i was thinking of the radeon le, but does that perform well with fs2000? suggestions please.

reviewing the database, for simple dvi output, the radeon le 32mb ddr looks good. are people actually switching on the hyper-z function with a software fix?
