Im getting a ViewSonic VX2025WM monitor and Dual 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce? 7900 GT - SLI Enabled - DVI Dual Link Supported graphics card
Ive heard things about the VX2025WMs DVI cable not working, so im wondering if i can still use dual 7900GTs without a dvi and just use the VGA cable?

yes... but dvi is optimal. Try it out and in the worst case scenario, just use the dvi to vga adaptor that comes with the 7900gt's and hook up the vga cable to it. The reason dvi is better is because dvi is a digital connection, and vga is an analog connection. A computer is fully digital, so a digital to digital connection is more efficiant than an analog to digital connection, some image quality is lost in the latter, not much though.

yep, plug that into one of the dvi connections and then plug the viewsonic's vga cable into the adapter. But like I said, try out the dvi cable first.
