Anybody seen comparisons of the reasonably priced video cards at 1600x1200 w/ DVI? I have a LCD Monitor and a dying Video Card... and no "Hi-Res" comparisons.

BTW: My target $$$$ wise is $200 or less....

do you game alot? if not then get a Matrox G55. amazing 2d cant game on it tho. it will do DVI at that res very very well. can get one for less then 100$ also

if you game then a 9700 pro or better ATI card and te hnew line of Nvidia cards will be fine also. as to which is better iIDK

I guess I left a bit out-

Gaming uses:
C&C Zero Hour (Lots!)
UT2K3 (Some)
others (Warcraft3, diablo2, etc..)

then get a 9600 Pro at the very least they are bout 130
you can get a Nvidia 5900 nu for under 200 also and its just as good as the 9700 pro

9600 Pro would be your best bet probably, I have one and play those exact games, it runs them fast and fluid with no drop in frame rate ever at highest settings.

Not actually, Matrox G550 supports only to 1280 x 1024 @ 32bpp using DVI on both the primary and secondary monitors. Analog..yes, DVI...nope.
