DVD's won't play to completion

I've noticed that some of my burned DVD's will quit playing towards the end of the movie. The DVD burns successfully, but the video still craps out at the end. I can't figure out if it is the media, or the ripped data. Is there an EAC equivalent for copying DVD's? Currently using DVDDecrypter and DVDShrink with a Pioneer DVR-105.

Aargh. Found another one. Now I know I am using cheaper media, but I thought that as long as the disc burned correctly you were good to go. Evidently this is not the case. Would better quality media solve my problem? And does anyone know of a better way to verify that a movie disc will play correctly short of watching the whole movie?

Try Apple media first. $3 a shot. If it works fine then it's the media.

Burn the movie that fills the disc and then just watch the last 30 mins and/or extras to see if they work fine. (Better to watch the whole disc though.)
