DVDROM won't copy data from CD

Everytime I try to copy this file from a burned CD it gets all the way to the end of hte file and gives me an error. It's a 700 meg video file and had no trouble burning, and plays just fine, but it will not copy back to the computer. I'm trying to figure out why it gets all the way to the end and doesn't copy the file over. Is there anything I can do other than drag/drop the file to ensure that it copies it over.

Also is there anything that's faster than dragging and dropping the file?

Does other disks copy fine to the hard drive? I've had that problem before and most of the time it's due to a scratch on the disk at that unreadable part. Try burning that the data on another cd.
