the rw cannot be written more then once because of scratches after burned once so it is just as useful as r and not very economical sound wise.
usually much slower then r as well say 2-4x vs 8-16x
remind me never to buy rw ever again, better to have 4 dvd-r then 1 dvdrw

um?

Sound wise?

right....

😕

RWs are great for data backups...not sure what the heck you are doing to yours...

You can buy 25 DVD+RW's for $10 when they are onsale. That is the same price as DVD+R's.

PS: I recommend storing the DVD+RW in a jewel case or DVD case.

I have 1x dvd-rw's I bought for less then dollar a disk and some of them I have erased and rewrote over now half a dozen time and they still work in my DVD players....

I use the DVD+RW 4x models for my data backup and they can be written to after data is already one (adding) with reauthoring...+R/+RW format is a tad faster in burnig as it does not have a lead in and lead out....

I never use DVD-Rs period for the fact most things for me are not set in stone and I may want to erase them and reuse them...economical is RW's since I pay less then 2x as much then R's alone..I I erase once and reuse I am already coming out ahead....
