Just got this program, man it rules!
Made a backup copy of my Star Trek: First Contact DVD without a hitch, quality of it is amazing! 🙂

Anyone else use any of 321studios other products?

This one simply makes a backup of your DVD, but it doesnt include any menus or anthing.

just a follow-up for those who PM;s me.

It makes a copy directly to a SINGLE DVD-R or DVD+R. No more multiple SVCD / VCD discs.
The quliaty is better than i have ever seen before!

Well geez... if it's a DVD-R, i'm not surprised. Have you compared it to other DVD-R rips?

Quality IMHO is worse than dvdshrink (free), dvd95copy, or dvd2one. Then again I never did like 321studios for bundling freeware and selling it for $50 either. That's pretty low in my book.

hmm..its not freeware for this program.
The original DVD copy was, but this is a whole new app.

Also, I have some other DVD-R rips and they seem to lok worse, artifacts in some spots, these dont seem to have any at all.

As you know the courts may decide this software isn't legal, that if declared illegal, the company will probably disappear . As I understand it a new serial is needed each time for installation. If the company disappears will re-installation impossible? Is there any way to safeguard against this?

exactly ....many are deceived by dvd2one and dvxcopy, etc. Why? They don't give you the stream sizes. Many times they do no transcoding at all then people sit there and say...ermm hmmm I can't distinguish it from the original video. Well duh it just strip streamed it. Best is to use dvdtoolbox first to see if you can't get it down by ripping out extra audio and extras (just keep main movie only) and many many times that'll suffice. After you rip to hd (15mins) then strip with dvdtoolbox (8mins or less) you can burn your dvd at 4X (15mins).

and soon there'll be a 100% free app dvdfab.com that does dvd-9 and split to two DVD-Rs like DVDXCopy $99 and InterVideo DVDCopy $60. Currently dvdtoolbox can split 'main movie only' to two DVD-Rs and it's freeware.
