Does anybody know of any sites that have reviewed either the Sony or Lite-On +/- DVD burners. If you have one yourself could you say if its good or not? My google searches always end up with just a bunch of store links.
 
They are the same drive. But, the Sony version is like $10 more, so I'd get that one myself...no idea why the Lite-On isn't less!
 
The speeds listed on the Sony drives at Newegg are higher than those of the Lite-On. I know they both used the same drive at one, but did Sony release a new one or are the specs wrong? I've also seen a few newer companies release a few as well. There is an NEC one, but it has a smaller buffer.
