DVD writer to do PI/PIF scanning?

I think Lite-On drives will do this? Anyone have any suggestions?

I bought an LG 14X Blu-Ray writer, and it won't do PI/PIF scanning on DVDs with Nero CD/DVD Speed.

If you're asking about dvd writers then yes, Liteon should support pi/pif scanning and is generally more open to tweaks. Just google a review for the model before buying just to be sure it supports error scanning.

Liteon is usually most reliable for this, but there are a few exceptions.
