dvd writer running at half the buffer...

prime ide - seagate 300gb - master
second ide - i have sony 810a - master (patched rpc1), and also a old pioneer 108 - slave (patched rpc1)

now the problem is when the sony was on prime ide alone (i had a sata raptor 74gb, burned out), and the hdd was on sata, everything was burning 16x, since the switch of ide's the bloody thing is slow as a snail...any ideas???

yeah just chked it, actually the option in the bios was not auto...as soon as i made it auto it started working in its normal speed...
