Not totally sure about this, but I'm pretty sure some of Kubrick's movies were filmed in a 4:3 aspect ratio, so there is no "widescreen" version possible.

Yes but that's not the case with these films. Kubrick had said that he intended The Shining to be displayed at 1.33:1 but the actual theatrical release was widescreen.

I've got them all downloaded & burned to CD, but the quality on some of them isn't the greatest. Supposedly their going to be released on DVD in 2004. Just a rumor, but could happen.

They are fun to pop in and re-live some of my childhood/pre-teen years
