DVD to XviD

So I have a little set top box now that will wirelessly play movies from my computer to my TV. What I'm going to do is toss in another HD and convert some of my favorite/most watched DVD's to xvid and play them on that unit rather than fishing DVD's out, etc.

What do you guys use to do this? I've been trying GordianKnot here and...well the guide that I found doesn't seem to be working quite right in these steps it has....well going to give it a shot but just wondering what all you people use.
 
fair use wizard... works great... has only been unable to convert 3 DVDs out of the 100+ i've tried.
 
I have always preferred Gordian Knot. You can use Divx or Xvid. Check out the guides over at Doom9.org for any questions.
 
Hmm...wonder why in my searches AGK didn't come up. It looks the easiest to use. I'll d/l and have a go.

some people I know use Nero Vision Express
