I currentlly have 157 DVD's and that number will likely continue to grow quite rapidly. Right now I have them stored in 2 stands that are about 3.5 feet tall with 4 shelves each. They each hold around 90+ DVD's, but when I include the few VHS and all my PS2 games those two stands quickly become overfilled. Not to mention they are now down sitting on the floor(had them up higher a while ago)and at a perfect height for my 2 yeard old son to get at. I am not to worried about him messing with them, since he is well supervised and a good kid. On occasion he has gotten one out but usually the most he will ever do is take the cases out, look at them and then put them back. But one thing I am somewhat worried about is the possibility of these things tipping over on top of him. They have feet on the bottom whcih is nothing more then 2 peices of wood about 1.5"x5". They support the unit just fine, but it would not take too much of a tug to send it toppling onto my son. SO with the fact that they are full and the topple factor, I am considering new options for storage.

So what do you all use for DVD storage? Where did you get it and how much did it cost? Or even if you don't use them do you know of any cool storage options?

Right now I have one of these:
Penguin 644 CD Customizable multimedia storage system.
http://www.thejungles.com/dvdracks.html

It holds 644 CD's or 360 DVD's or a combination of CD and DVD. This one is full so I need to get another. It's a pretty good rack for the price. The only downside to it is that if the CD's fall over they can slide out the back under the rails. May be a problem with any rack of this style.

I bought a bookshelf from home depot. I also bought 2 extra shelves. The whole thing costed under $100, it looks good, and fits dvds great. Theres room for about 400 dvds or so ... (I filled a little dvd rack that holds about 200, so i figured it was time to upgrade)
