DVD standard agreed upon

Not really DVD as it isn't compatiable with current players and they say compatibility with DVD is upto the manufacture.

However assuming they keep the same scripting and file layout it should be fairly simple to make new DVD player capable of using these discs as well as DVD/VCD discs
