I know theres upscaling dvd players but i was wondering if theres dvd software something like powerdvd that can upscale dvds to 720p?
 
ok thanks for a very very vague post. I know ffdshow is some from of codec or something and after reading the wiki page im still confused. Can anyone explain what varun i guess is trying to point out?
 
wow just wow i ask one simple question and all i get is links. What pisses me off is you two know how to answer my question but instead throw in useless links a.k.a those stupid replys like google is your friend post that people make. Yes i have ffdshow and yes ive been to video help. The point of posting on here was just to get a quick answer instead of sitting sifting through nonsense all night trying to do something that one of you two could of answered in two sentences if that. Thanks
 
So what I understand of FFDshow is that you use it in place of an MPEG Decoder and use some fancy software to manipulate the video for whatever post effects you want. I'm no expert on the subject but there are good websites on the subject.
