DVD Shrink won't work with DVD decrypter

I tried backing up a DVD video. I first stored the files with dvd decrypter (it apparently ripped all the parts that were in the video folder of the dvd). i tried encoding the files using dvd shrink and i always get errors somewhere midway...what do i do?

Bad disc maybe? Have you tried using Shrink's internal ripper instead of Decrypter?

try a different dvd

I've ran across a couple that gave me errors. I re-ripped them from a different drive and the image would work.

rip to an image. also try just using dvd shrink and opening the disc directly

i have actually had this problem with more than 2 discs already, i thought something was flawed with my method. I will strictly use dvd shrink's internal ripper...it works almost all the time.

if you're going to burn with dvd shrink anyway, you may as well use their ripper. I haven't had a problem with DVD Shrink failing to rip something ... though I've heard stories.

yup . 'The bourne supremecy" doesn;t work for one. Any other "shrinkers" ?

Did you rip it with DVD Decrypter? You might give SmartRipper a try as well.

On three different conputer with three different drives, tried first dvdshrink 3.2 ("internal error") then dvd drcrypter, then dvdshrink reading the dvd decrypted files, same error.

I am having problems ripping Shawn of the Dead with DVD Shrink, ive never ran into a problem before, its burned every disc I have ever tried.
